One of my very favorite ways to create is with a mood board – either using found objects to create my own image or with a photo collage. I love collecting items for a specific theme and arranging them in a way that evokes a unique feeling. Layering everything together until I get it *just* right. As an avid vintage shopper and trinket lover there is nothing I enjoy more than hunting for the perfect piece to fit my vision.
For my summer mood board I wanted bright pops of color, flowers, seashells, and an almost overwhelming blast of sunshine. I’ve been craving the sun more than usual this year, as we’ve had a very cloudy spring here in Michigan. Now that it’s finally starting to feel like summer weather, I cannot wait to spend more time outside, checking items off my annual bucket list, and relaxing on my patio with a good book. I hope it’s sunny blue skies wherever you’re at today!
